I used a book called "Talking Leaves: Contemporary Native American Short Stories" to get a few different ideas for Native American short stories and I used Debbie Reese's blog to get some ideas for possible novels in a high school classroom

Debbie Reese's blog has been a wonderful resource in helping me find quality children's books for my unit lesson plans. I have also been referring to "A Broken Flute" and a book titled "Critical Literacy in the Classroom" which have helped me tremendously with developing activities that complement my lesson plans.

I have found that Debbie Reese's blog has been very helpful in finding resources that are appropriate to use. I have also looked at websites such as ReadWriteThink and Teach-nology that have good lesson plan ideas and resources.
